Last year, I learned how to fish but had terrible luck out fishing. The only fish Jake and I caught were not catchable. Even at stocked ponds when everybody around us caught decent sized fish we were only able to catch 3-inch long bluegills.
At the pond yesterday, I caught my first catchable fish. And then I caught 2 more!
But the most exciting part of the day, by far, is that I nearly caught a 18 inch golden trout that was at least five inches in height! I reeled it into the shore but it broke the line right before I could get it above the water...all with a worm on a bobber!
