We started off our second birthday day by grabbing a pepperoni pizza at Little Caesar's. We ate it in the truck while preparing for the rest of the day's adventures. (If you missed Part 1 of our birthday day, click here.)

After pizza we drove to the Discovery Center. Mostly to capture some pictures I've been wanting to for a while.

While Jake and I were playing around with this thing someone from the Discovery Center approached us. He mentioned something about looking for contributors to add pictures to their website or Facebook page or whatnot (he spotted me taking pictures several times and probably just assumed I'm a much better snapshot than I actually am just because of my camera). It seemed as if he was mostly talking to Jake so I drifted off and started to play around with this thing again. He gave Jake his card and walked off. When he left, Jake told me he said something along the lines of, "We're looking for people that can take better pictures than we ever could..." and they both looked at me but it was funny because I wasn't paying attention. Oh, that's just like me...

My picture is to the left and Jake's is to the right.

After the Discovery Center, Jake and I walked to Julia Davis where we flew the plane.

After flying the plane, we stopped at DK Donuts. DK Donuts is this dive off of State Street. When Jake and I first met each other, we spent a lot of time here after skating and whatnot. We didn't try the bacon maple bar, but it seems like we might have missed out.

One of the last places we went on Part 2 of our birthday day was the Westside Drive In for another coffee cooler and a grilled cheese sandwich. On our way home, we stopped at Wahooz, grabbed some ice cream at Baskin Robins, and rented a couple movies from Hastings and Redbox.
