I learned how to ski today and I wasn't too bad I guess. Haha, actually, I kind of killed it. I didn't think I would but Jake did. He said its because I was pretty decent at snowboarding the first time I tried it. My ski instructor said my luck on the slopes probably has something to do with kayaking. She said kayakers use their knees to balance a lot and I never thought about it but I guess its true. I have experience in belly dance, yoga, and skateboarding too. In the gym I focus on core body strength and calf stuff so it's not like anything that happened today was too special, just a lot of little things that added up, I guess, but I still feel really proud that I nailed it because I don't like a lot of things I try and I like this.
