In spite of everything, I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Jake and I went to the midnight release of Modern Warfare 3 at Gamestop tonight. Normally, Jake would be so excited he'd play for hours. However, he was really tired tonight and went to bed a little while after we got home. Instead, I'm the one that stayed up all night. I was working on this new layout:


The blue outline shows up on Internet Explorer for some reason, and I can't find a way to get rid of it. It doesn't show up on Firefox or Safari though so I'm guessing it doesn't show up on other browsers either.

This was my second layout. I designed it around the banner. This is the banner I was working on before I decided to scrap it entirely:


I might use it in the future.

I really like when Jake and I can work on two different things at the same time. I know he likes the freedom of being able to play his games as long as he wants to without feeling any pressure to go out and do something. And I like to be able to edit photos or work on my own little projects without feeling like I'm ignoring him.

Speaking of editing photos, I have months of unedited pictures I haven't touched. Everything's been really busy around here.
