Sick Days

No pictures. I've been sick for the past week. Well, I've been sick for the past month, really, but this past week has been especially bad.

Jake has been incredible through it all though. It blows me away that when I wake up at five coughing in spite of only falling asleep at two, he stays awake with me just to make sure I have everything I need. He brings me food, water, medicine, and everything else I could possibly ask for. He provides back rubs, does the laundry, folds, and puts away the clothes, takes out the trash, goes grocery shopping, and does everything else that needs done. That's not it though, what I find most amazing is that he is happy to do it.

He doesn't complain that the only thing coming from the TV all day has been My Fair Wedding with David Tutera or Chopped on the Food Network. Even though most of the episodes are reruns he's had to suffer through before.

I'm a pretty lucky kid.
